In accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, companies that are listed on US stock exchanges are required to be audited by a firm of auditors registered with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). This also applies to German subsidiaries which constitute an integral part of the consolidated accounts of a listed company. Because we are registered, we are in a position to audit such companies.
Registration with the PCAOB requires the establishment of an appropriate quality assurance system. It is carried out in close cooperation with the German Chamber of Auditors (Wirtschaftsprüferkammer) and the Institute of Auditors (Institut der Wirtschaftsprüfer). Accordingly, the cooperation with the PCAOB and the disclosure of information to this body is only possible within the limits laid down by German legal regulations governing the profession. Moore Rhein-Ruhr GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft has been registered with the PCAOB since January 2014.
Please refer to our specific topics page for our auditing services for companies listed on a US stock exchange.
